Have you ever wondered if you could use your creative gifts to do ministry? With 92% of the UK’s population online, there is a significant mission field to share the good news of the gospel. If you are a christian Graphic Designer, Illustrator and/or Video Editor/Animator, this is for you!
We are looking for skilled freelance creatives to join our mission, serve along us and use their God-given talents for sharing the gospel online and in your local community. This is a flexible position based on the time that you have available for creative mission.

Hope Fuelled Design is a not for profit company, formed out of a team of creatives committed to digital media mission, based in Scotland, United Kingdom. Our mission is to communicate the gospel story into everyday lives in a relevant, innovative, varied and up to date way. Our team was assembled out of the shared desire to bring Christ shaped hope into the world, by serving with our creative God-given gifts and fostering collaboration between local churches and groups. We enable churches and groups to partner in mission by sharing our resources for free. We are supported by the generosity of people who believe that Christ’s great commission is for everybody at no cost. Over the last year, we have worked on various projects that confirmed the need for our mission and we are now looking at expanding our team of creatives. This role presents an exciting opportunity for someone to work within our growing creative community. We are looking for gifted, efficient, and motivated Christian Freelance Graphic Designers, Illustrators and Video Editors/Animators based in the UK, willing to work on projects with us. As part of our mission, we create digital media resources for key events in the Christian calendar and work with Christian charities on bespoke projects. It is essential that you are familiar with and have access to Adobe Creative Suite including: Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator. We would like you to:
Have a basic understanding of the Bible Manage workload by yourself and in a team Have a flexible schedule, especially leading up to key Christian events such as Christmas and Easter. Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills Give examples of previous work (not mandatory) Be able to work on multiple projects at the same time
REMOTE: Remote working with occasional filming sessions or meetings in person. We are based around the area of Dunfermline, Central Belt, Scotland.
PAY: We are passionate that the good news of the gospel should be available at no cost. Our intention is to build up a community of professional creatives united in their calling to exercise their Christian gifts as part of Christ’s great commission. Many of us volunteer a small amount of our time to make this happen with expenses being covered by generous donations. In addition, there are opportunities to work on paid bespoke projects which are invoiced in agreement with our designers.

Anthony shares his time between pastoring in Stirling and exercising his creative gifts in Hope Fuelled Design. One of his favourite bible stories is when Jesus meet the Samaritan Woman at the well. For Anthony the story captures how Jesus meets all of us in the grittiness of life. The story is inspiring, challenging and grace filled. Did you know that it is arguable that the Samaritan Woman is the first evangelist? Because she told her village all about Jesus.
Perhaps, you have been searching on Google looking for answers to how you can improve your social media engagement. Maybe, you have read many articles and have felt them lacking or not appropriate for you. Certainly, some goto strategies such as prize competitions are difficult to imagine working in every context. There is not a one size fits all solution especially as we consider our responsibility in helping each other use social media wisely.
